My question was does anyone know the legal process of petitoning the court for release of probation.? |
Yes you can join the military with a felony cause my son has been accepted he just has to get released of his probation which is just legal paperwork which i am not familar with. This is usually done by his probation officer. Tell him to call his probation officer & tell him why he needs it terminated. He also has to tell his recruiter to call & probably fax over a letter that your son is acceptible subject to that. Then the P.O. takes it before the court. First it is good to have a lawyer petition the court for you.It is Good if your probation has been paid on time and you have not been in any trouble since the probation has been issued. And of course the level of the offense has allot to do with this.It is all about the $$$$$$ Ask a probation officer and get legal representation to petition the courts. Make sure it is feasible before you shell out bucks for an attorney. |
