School strike(more in details)?

The teachers in my daughter's school district have been on strike for 4 days now.The board has not scheduled a meeting with the teachers since they chose to strike.Basically, nothing is being done. The teachers want a fair contract,I side with the teachers, and have refused to send my daughter to school until the strike is over.My question is: Is there anything, we the parents, can do to help?I was considering calling the governor and asking for federal mediation but I'm unsure if that would hurt the teachers more than help right now.

Why don't you be a leader, call other parents and get their opinions, talk to the teachers who are striking and see what you can do. YES call the govener!
If you really feel that the teachers are in the right, then stand beside them and push for an agreement so your kids can get back in school.
It is really sad that teachers go on strike, these kids are missing out on thier education do to the "cause", so if you feel the "cause" is worth fighting for, then fight.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

What you are asking basically boils down to "Can I interfer in the contract process between parties when I am 1. breaking the law and 2. not a party to the contractural relationship.

Would you like to answer your own questions now?

EDITED TO ADD:

I thought you might not like my answer but so what? You are not only guilty of suborning truancy, but your child will be paying the price.

Also, you have nothing legally you can do or will be allowed to do. This is a union issue. So, if you think I'm wrong, please pay your own attorney for advice.

Join the picket line and call the Governor!~!

BURN THE SCHOOL DOWN
