*Home>>>Mediation

I just started will studying law and i would like someone to help me with this. It's a matter related to CCMA.

if a union refers a dispute to CCMA on the 1 january 2007and by the 31 of january the CCMA has not resolved the problem and you want to go on strike, what will happen.CCMA = Commision for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration

What does your contract say? What are the terms of the abritration? What outside law applies (for example some government critical industries are not allowed to strike)?

And are you talking about resolving an individual dispute or a contract issue? Normally one person cannot 'go on strike'. And whole workforces usually only strike for major contract issues or very significant moral points.

Need more info to provide a better answer.
