What is the Landlord/Tenant law in New Jersey if the tenant gave you 2 bounced checks and hasnt yet paid it? |
The law for a tenant that gave you two bad checks, one for a security deposit and one for rent and she still hasn't paid it and it has been three weeks, I gave her notice that It must be in my hands within 24 hours or I will void the lease. There you go. Not only did she breach the lease...she has violated NJ law. Willingly writing a bad check is a felony in NJ. |
