Can i be evicted by my landlord from one day to another?

landlord called in asking to leave the house today.

Nope that is illegal. Tell him to send you and eviction notice and then you have 2 months to find a new place.

An eviction is an actual Court order. If your landlord is asking you out that is not an eviction. If you don't leave then they will need to petition a Court to have you evicted. You will be entitled to a hearing and it may take weeks or more for you to actually be removed.

No.

He has to give you a month's notice. The notice starts from the date when you usually pay your rent.

Exceptions - he can force you out sooner if you've failed to pay your rent or if you've negligently or intentionally damaged the property.

if they want u out they cant say be out by wed. or Fri. against the law. there is a procedure they must comply with and give you notice. is rent missing or not paid, a pay or quite notice on door.

based on what u wrote no

I hope your lease is written and you have a copy?
No landlord can just call and tell you to leave.
They must go through the courts.
Check your local laws.

Depends on your lease. Month to month? Year? No lease?
