Is there any kind of department of labor rule/law that says if you work Graveyard (till like 6-7am) that you.. |
are required to be given 2 days off in a row? My job as a security officer. I work 10pm till 6am and my days off are totally split up and it's killing me. Ive told my company many times how much this is hurting me, but they are unable to accommodate. No law, but I feel for you. Find a new job. Does you day off start at 7am Wednesday and start at 12am Thursday? No, we don't need any regulation of industry they will take care of it themselves. BS. Good luck. Not in any state I've seen and not under federal law. Talk to the National LAbor Relations board in your county; but odds are you are stuck with it or job hunting No, there is no labor law giving two consecutive days off. Possibly a state law though. No such rule exists. There is one that states you cannot be scheduled any closer to 8 hours between shifts, which stinks. |
