How to report labor abuse by KPMG? |
Is there a site where I can report labor abuse? My spouse works at KPMG on average of 80-100 hours per week. The problem is that the firm requires an employee to work over time and without any additional pay. It seems like working 50hr-100hrs a week is mandatory and a common practice of KPMG. There are hundreds if not thousands employee who works various amount of overtime without pay. Is this allowed under the current labor law? Maybe I am totally wrong and this perfectly fine? I am so very surprised no one is reporting this. KPMG even has a union. But why out of thousands people no one is speaking up? Are there regulatory agencies to report this type of labor abuse? Thank you! NO NO you got it all wrong. It's my wife and she IS making close to minimum wage while forced to worked 80-100 hour weeks. And there are many hundreds(maybe even thousands) 1st year employees who are forced to work 40-50 additional hrs/week just like her! We are not talking about a manager or a partner here. Not even close. That is why I am asking. I think this is so wrong but not sure who in our government is in charge of this. Don't they have a report hotline or something? http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/natio... Your spouse is not working like 80-100 hours per week and making 30,000. he is likely classified as a manager or junior partner. If your spouse is working 80-100 hours per week, he/she is either one working s.o.b ,or is cheating.I wouldn't work that many hours if i was a slave. They would just have to shoot my ***. |
