Labor Laws involving Children-My 10 year old son has been issued a check for "work done in February". |
Need info on Child Labor Laws. The company issuing the check has described "Work done in February" as the description. It is obviously a contractual agreement, because no taxes were taken out. The amount is $12.50. (Not the issue.) China or Mexico? Since you give no idication as to what company or what work was done there can be no answer to your question. First of all, what work did your child do? i think it's good your child made that much. it teaches him he will have to work for his money, responsibility. my 10 year old stayed the weekend with her best friend, they have money. she helped them work in the garden, babysat and helped clean the woman's store, she made $190.00 that weekend. she also found arrow heads galore while working in the garden. |
