CA Labor law code for rest periods & breaks? |
Can anyone help me find the link at the CA Labor Board site that shows an employees rights as far as breaks and lunches (rest periods are concerned? I would like the actual law code if possible and not something from some lawyers site. Per Federal law, which would trump any interpretation of law for the State of California, an employer is not required to provide its employees with any breaks OR lunches; it is the sole discretion of the employer...most due because studies have show workers are more productive if given a rest period every few hours, but is it not required by law. does this site help? http://www.dol.gov/compliance/ |
