Fair labor laws? |
my fiancee was fired yesturday and left on a jobsite with no work vechile or his lone vechile after the boss threated to beat him up. Where can I find info about fair labor laws for wi. There are lot more things that his previous employer is doing but I dont have room to dissuss all of them. What is it that you want to do? Get revenge? Put the employer out of business? Sue the employer? Get your fiancee rehired? Put the employer in jail? If you think that your fiancee is in physical danger, you should call the police. You could also seek the advice of a lawyer. It may be that the best course of action is just to move on and stay out of a bad situation. see if your city has a labor board, if so, sound off to them. If not, check with the Better Business Bureau, they will put you in the right direction and make a report for themselves. Do a net search on Labor laws/Wisconsin, You should find what you're looking for. I noticed you use the word job-site, that's usually used by construction workers so I have to ask if he belongs to a union, if so , he may have recourse through them. |
