Michigan state labor laws and federal labor laws?

Hourly employee works a regular 40 hour work week Monday-Friday. Saturday work is overtime paid at time and one half.
Overtime on Saturdays has been declared mandatory. If a person takes a paid vacation (Monday-Friday for example) they must also take a paid vacation for the Saturday at straight time. Is this legal?

It is legal. I live in Michigan and was under the exact same circumstance last year. Labor Board told me that your employer does not have to pay you overtime if you aren't at work.
