Labor law question, is this legal? |
To work 12 hours in the hot sun, paving roads without a break. There is also no restroom or portable potty available and he had to relieve himself in the woods twice. This occurred in Mississippi. He start feeling weak and dizzy and they toldhim he would be okay. By the time he got home he was dripping wet, having heat cramps, and exhausted. Is this legal? Absolutely not. NO it's not. He is required by law to get breaks!!! NO. Quit. No, they have to give a break if someone works over 8 hours, I believe. it is required by law to have a break after so many hours. They don't have to be long breaks but i think at least 10 minutes Not legal at all you need to contact The Labor Law in you state and make a compliant about this! |
