Labor code about 13th month pay?


Philippine guidelines about 13th month pay, If under 12 months shall an employee still receive this benifits

If you work less than 12 months, you cannot receive a thirteenth

Yes. You are still entitled to the 13th month pay. You will have it in a pro-rated basis. I'm not sure of the exact computation but I guess your monthly salary, times the number of months you are in the company, divided by twelve...but one thing for sure, you have to receive something as your 13th month pay, on top of the bonus if company will give you(this one is the prerogative of the company).

Yes. The Company shall pay its employees 13th month pay for one (1) year of service on or before the 24th of December for the year being paid. If the employee has served for less than a year, then the 13th month pay shall be pro-rated based on the nearest full amount.
