Labor Laws question....?


I have performed searches, but I am having trouble finding what I need. Here's the situation. I live in Ohio, and the place where my husband works is changing things around. He drives a semi, and the building is locked up at night (when the drivers need to pick up their loads). They are unable to clock in, which means that they are also unable to clock out when they return. They have to report their times, but that can be disputed if they cannot officially clock in. Also, with the building locked up, there are no water fountains available, and no bathroom facilities. I am simply trying to find out if they can legally do this. Please help??!!

If he is a member of a union, contact the union.

If not, contact the National Labor Relations Board, Washington, D.C.

Look at www.dol.gov that is the Federal Department of Labor. You may also have an Ohio DOL. If he is a member of a union, he needs to report this.
