Labor Laws in CA, can employer refuse to pay employee if time clock did not pick up a punch in/out time? |
A notice was sent out to the office stating that the employer would no longer honor hours worked if the time clock did not pick up hours (i.e. forgetting to punch in or out). You might find your answer here: http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/PayDays.pdf You would have to prove you were there. Without the timeclock they probably not have to pay you, but I'm not sure. |
