Labor law on saftey glasses and perscriptions if goggles provided to go overglasses but is comberson? |
how can you show that there is an interference with peformance this is for amblance personel for splash protection from body fluids ect.The deal is they have let us use our clothing allowance to get regular wrap around glasses but no prescription and allowance is 250.00 and this is for boots shirts pants and boots alone are 200.00 glasses are approx 395.00. what to do. I worked at a company that we had to wear safety glasses. OSHA mandated that if they are requiring you to wear safety glasses and you have prescription glasses then they have to provide for your prescription safety glasses. If I were you I would check with OSHA in your state and see what their guidelines are. Don't you have the splash shields that they use in hospitals? When I worked as a phlebotomist we used the splash shields. You might check into getting that. Good luck. Damn.... where the hell do you shop? |
