California labor laws; rest and meal breaks? |
if i work an 8 hour day, am i supposed to get two paid ten-minute breaks and a paid half hour meal break? or just the meal break? Just like you said, unless you are in a union, 2 - 10 minute breaks (paid) and 1 - 1/2 hour lunch (unpaid). 2 breaks and a 30 minuite unpaid meal break. by California law you must receive 1 - 30 minute unpaid break if you work more then 5 hours (6 hours in entertainment) |
