Nevada Labor Laws?

Are salary employees required to work over 40hrs per week without additional compensation?

Salary means however long it takes, it doesn't go by hours, so the answer would be yes, no over time pay.

Her answer is incorrect. A company cannot require a set amount of hours in any given week. If an office operates on a 40 hour work week schedule than that is the basis of how your salary is accounted. A company cannot schedule you to work more than 40 hours in a given work week. Report It

The federal fair labor standards act excludes bona fide executives. Those are salaried people who can essentially choose their own hours. If they have to account for their time at all, then they are not bona fide executives and are entitled to overtime for working more than 40 hours in a week. If you are treated as an hourly employee for one purpose, then you must be treated as an hourly employee for all purposes.
