Texas Labor Laws for Salaried Employee? |
Can a salaried employee be forced to work over 85 hours a week? Is there a law that prevents this? federal law prevents you from being scheduled more then 16 hours a day and no more then 6 days a week which could be 96 hours. i have not found the Texas law that relates to this but you can look at this website to see if Texas has a law or regulation (Texas has very few labor laws): You should direct your question to the labor dept, or an attorney. |
