Do labor laws for minors apply once you've graduated from high school in Michigan?

I will graduate at 17, I know I don't need a work permit anymore, but can I work as much as I want, since I will no longer be in school?

Although state laws do vary, but based on the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), these are the basic and general provisions regarding child labor:

1. Youths 18 and older are not subject to restrictions on jobs (type of jobs) or hours.(the number of hours per week as well as various hours of the day).
2. Ages 16-17 may perform any job not declared "hazardous" by the Secretary, and are not subject to restrictions of hours.
3. Ages 14-15 may work after school hours nonmanufacturing, nonmining, nonhazardous jobs under these conditions:

----MAX 3 hours on a school day
----18 hours per school week
----8 hours on a non-school day
----40 hours in a non-school week

BY LAW all employers must keep records of the dates of birth of employees under age 19, their daily starting and quitting times, their daily and weekly hours of work, and their occupations. Employers may----and do----protect themselves from unintentional violation of the child labor provisions by keeping on file an employment or age certificate for each young worker to show that the employee is of minimum age for the job. Certificates issued under most state laws are acceptable for this purpose.

Correct.
