Can you represent yourself in juvenile court if you are a minor?

I live in Ohio. I'm going to court for trespassing in the fourth degree, and I know that I'm not guilty, and I have pretty much an impenetrable defense. (Just take my word for it) I really don't want to have to ask my parents to have to hire a lawyer. So any info would be appreciated.

No, you cannot represent yourself. Being a minor, you cannot sign any legal agreements or contracts, and that is especially true when it comes to representation. You can get a lawyer appointed for you, if you don't think your parents can afford one, however, being a minor, your parents are going to be aware of your accusation of a crime.

Just remember, only a fool has himself for a client.

No, a minor cannot represent themselves in a court of law
