How to reschedule a juvenile court date?

Hi,

My daughter got a "crossing street against flashing light" ticket. She is only 15 years old.
She will be out of state in South America (a school trip) at the court date.

Is there any possibility to reschedule the court date?

This is Los Angeles area.

Thanks

all you need to do is contact the clerk of court where she needs to appear. Explain the situation and reschedule. If you don't know where to call it should be written somewhere on her summons. If not, call the general info number for the city of Los Angeles and ask for the number. thats all there is to it.

Contact the juvenile court judge's secretary to request a "continuance." They may require a letter from you.
