If you were convicted of a felony as a juvenile can i still buy a firearm? |
the state is flordia If it was handled in the juvenile court then you were not "convicted" of a felony. You were found to be a delinquent child and that is not the same as a felony conviction in most states. If you want to know if your state considers it the same, you should at least mention your state. Better, call the local sheriff and ask. They probably also know at your local gun store. In all reality, I'd say more than likely not...May depend on the county and also the state that your located in.. did u get anything out of the felony charges as a minor??? and what was those charges for meaning what'd you do to get in trouble to start with?? Only if your civil rights have been restored, to specifically include gun ownership. |
