In oho can u get your juvenile record ex sponged or is their certain criteria u have to meet?

If there is criteria u have to meet what it is?
I'm talking if your over 18

It just makes me giggle when people spell is as "ex sponged." That's so cute.

In any event, your record is not really expunged, it is sealed. Expunged means that the convictions get removed from your record. Sealed means that most people can't access them. Some states will automatically seal your records when you turn 18, however, other states require that you petition the courts to seal the records. There is no special criteria required for filing to have your records sealed.

Oho? Do you mean Ohio? Once you turn 18, your juvie record is sealed. You get a clean slate. No need to do anything else. It's still there but people cannot access it. Like possible employers and such.

There are different policies for each state, but in NY you can, Get on line and go to WWW.askjeeves.com type in your question and you will have more options to choose from. I hope this helps you.

Usually when you turn 18 and whatever you did was not something truly egregious, like murder, your juvenile record will be expunged.
