What Do YOU Think Should Be The Consequence For Murder? |
I think every murderer or massacrer should face death. If they kill a man out of the blue, they should face the consequences of (AT LEAST) life in prison. I believe this punishment should be for juvenile and adults alike. What do you think? Defending someones life- that is no diffrence except for poilce. But, killing just to kill- its terrible. And the sad thing is that I was brushing up on my leagal studies and I found of this one story about 2 11-year-olds. They kiled 12 kids, 3 teachers, and still only were sentenced to 8 years in juvenile detention. I thought this was upsturd! I'm going to be different and say not the death penalty, just life in prison. although western societies believe in NO DEATH penelties, but in my view, if someone has taken a life, he/she has no right to have life. Death as a punishment of murdering. Firm believer in life and prison and the death penalty. I just think it depends on the age of the individual, the severity of the crime, past criminal record, and the individual's state of mind at the time. There was a guy in Houston who was just found guilty of capital murder of a police officer. The jury is deciding his fate but I am all for the death penalty in his case. The prick had the nerve to claim insanity....and to make matters worse, he has a history of child molestation....society doesn't need idiots like this....i say do away with them. i dont agree. there are a lot of things that can lead to someone getting killed. not to say its right... cuz i dont think its right for someone to kill someone else. its not our place to decide who should live or die. just the same as we dont think its ok for someone to take someone else's life, if we would decide to give that same treatment to people who mightve messed up or made a mistake or did something because a feeling of hurt or anger inside them pushed them to do it, would we be teaching those people that its wrong if we would just have them killed or give them life in prison? Two wrongs dont make a right. To simplified. if the mind is capable of rational thought they should be in eternal servitude (to work & forfeit all wealth to the victims). refusal of this, will be taken into custody of the state to be used in slave labor & the value of all wealth produced is to be split between the state & victim. if the mind is rabid (too far gone) it must be destroyed. the bodies (under state possession) could be used for; science, war, space, spare parts & ultimate movie stunts. I would say death penalty saves a lot of time and money. Trouble is there's no way to undo the penalty if wrongly convicted. I appreciate this is prertty rare, but it happens. Simple answers to simplistic questions make me laugh. Who decides who is guilty? Every year there are reports of new technology proving a "guilty person" innocent. Who is responsible for the innocently accused, put to death, .........Who takes care of their families? Go get a foolproof justice system first, then talk about death penalties afterwards. People wouldn't like it if I ran a country, because thieves would have fingers cut off, child molesters/abusers would be put to death immediately, and murderers would be killed on the spot. I don't think they should be put to death. Hang 'em from the highest tree! It is sad that statistics show that it costs over $50,000 a year to house an inmate, who gets 3 meals a day, snacks, medical and dental, school, etc..., yet a family of four lives off of $25,000 a year. Where is the justice in that?? Hang them! Take them out into the largest desert we have and shoot them in the kneecaps. If it was premeditated...then death I think they should get life in prison. I'm not a supporter of the death penalty. If you execute even one innocent person it makes it wrong in my opinion. throw them in prison, life sentence no parole. if it's for no reason at all, this person obviously doesn't deserve to be around humans at all......life sentence, solitary confinement death should be the penalty for murder. an eye for an eye The death penalty. If we're punishing them for murdering, who are we to say they must die too? Is Hammurabi's code still in effect or something? I think they should put all of them on an island and then people can pay to go there and hunt them. LIfe in prison, unless of course the murder was commited defending one's life do onto others as you would have done to you, seem fair, I think so eye for an eye... capitol punishment is like retro active abortion . i think life in prison , no parole . With some exceptions where it is justified, I agree. death coz if they killed sum1 i think they should get the same thing done to them!! I think we should donate their organs to those who need them. Prison for 50 years. agree Swift justice not 20 years in an appeals court... Agree. Eye for an eye... |
