Does anyone know how to get information about...? |
what the minimum and/or maximum penalty for certain convictions are? I'm trying to find out the possible penaltys for someone convicted of cruelty to a juvenile in the state of Louisiana. I don't even begin to know where to look. Can anyone help me? The penalties for crimes are found in the state's statutes. The statutes are likely online with the state's legislature website. Go to the criminal statutes and they will tell you what the punishments for certain crimes are. |
