Is it legal for an apartment manager to "background check" your juvenile record although you are an adult? |
I am trying to apply for a new apartment and the management pulled my juvinile record from some public records site online. They tell me because it says misdimeanor I falsified info on my application and can't rent there. They also tell me that it doesn't matter if I was a juvenile or not. You need to contact local courts and have you juvenile records sealed. Juvenile records are generally sealed an can't be checked He can only search what the courts have access to. He can't force a the country clerk to give him juvenile records. all you gotta do is get his name and search his *** on line criminal search, and get him *** back, maybe he got something to hide, it may cost like 9 bucks but hey it's worth it, search his kids all that on the internet, also don't even move there, move elsewhere obviously somethings bound to happen and he will be the first to point fingers at you for anything, find another place, even Jesus in the bible says to his apostles if you knock on somebody door to bring good tidings and they refuse then wipe your shoes from that place and they will get all the dust and bad owed to them and you keep it moving cause someone else later on the road will welcome you. good luck yo - that guys a real asshole |
