What are 1st offense juvenile theft charges in Missouri? |
I'm 15 and me and a friend stole 2 small bottles of liqour and a skin cream lotion. we were caught, arrested, and now face charges. the items stolen were worth about 16$ and were taken in the state of missouri. The police said that they would only press theft charges because no alchohol was drunk, what would the penalties most likely be? and what could they be if they also charge for underage possession? we live in Ohio as well so it's a different state, if that makes a difference.. Honestly and I know you are concerned, juvenile charges are no big deal. Judges are lenient in Missouri and the record will be sealed for life... don't worry so much about it... you will have a fine but it won't haunt you for life. |
