Juvenile misdemeanor? |
I'm a 16 year old who was just caught being truant todayin VA. I went to a food place and the officer caught me. He said i was being charged of being truant and that it was a misdemeanor. I have like a 3.9 GPA and this is really bothering me. Is there any way to remove this from my record? I don't think you have to worry. In the US, most things like that are wiped off a record, besides, your 16, if you wanted to you could quit school. I certainly don't recommend it, but that's the law. So why did he take you in. Sounds like the officer had nothing better to do with his time. What jerk he is. Sorry, but with all the violence going on out there, I think it's stupid that you were taken in. If you were a constant juvenile, getting in trouble all the time, or robbing stores, etc. I really wouldn't worry about especially with such a high GPA. Can't your parents do something about it? Speak to them and see how they feel about it. That's the best advice I can give. Being charged and being convicted are two different things. It's not quite the end of the world....yet. |
