If I applied to be a pharmacist at a cvs can they look at a juvenile misdemeanor offense thru background check They can look at your record during your background check and see that you have a sealed juvenile record. No. If you were convicted of a crime as a juvenile, by law those records are sealed and unavailable via background check. Don't worry about it. Good luck -- I hope you get the job. No, only law enforcement and other authorized government agencies have access to juvenile records. if u were a minor than no they shouldnt be able too... all juvenille cases are usually kept so that only gov people can look at it (for instance if u wanted to join the army then they would be able to look at it) however unless it is a gov. agency then noo... if u were in a lot of trouble when u were a juvenille then after so many times of gettin in trouble they will no longer give u a youthful defender status and from that point on no more of ur arrest records will be kept to where only gov. agencies can look at them (ive dealt with this with my brother who is 19 yrs old & in jail for his 11th time since he was 14) but if it was just a few misdemeanors or two then you should be fine... it wasnt until my brother was arrested for the 9th time with his 4th felony that they quit giving him a youthful defender status and his records were no longer kept private... If the misdemeanor didn't stop you from getting your pharmacy license, I don't see why CVS would have a problem with it. |
