Forcing someone to work? |
Is it legal for a states juvenile probation department to force 15 and 16 yr old girls to work 32 hours a week(when they are attending school 20 per week) and give half their check to them.Either that or go jail. Juvenile probation department? if your under their control because you did something wrong thats your choice. Community service is work for no pay and the courts often times make teenagers do that. I'd rather get half my check than work for nothing. And actually i think its pretty fair to all involved. You make money and your parents and the community don't have to foot the bill for your crimes. what was your crime. I say do the time and get off probation and get a life so you get to keep you own money That would largely depend on the jurisdiction, what the judge ordered be done during probation, and what the other half of their checks is being used for. |
