Case will be dropped or Dismissed?

I am a juvenile and plead guilty for grand larceny , burglary , and committing conspiracy to grand larceny. The judge charged it down to petty larceny and said if im good for 3 months and take a class ( i already did today ) and also do 24 hours community service then my charges will be dropped or it will be dismissed. Does this mean it will be erased from my record? My friend said it wont be till i turn 18. Will Las Vegas Athletic Club check my background? They asked if i did a crime , what should i put? I am 16 btw.

Like the judge said, do the penalty and it is dropped... means disappears. Juvenile records are sealed anyways.. no worries.

Put down the truth, and express your remorse, the fact that your responsible enough to take ownership of your actions and that you are working towards turning a new leaf. This includes a steady job where you can make a commitment. I'm in Texas, so I know that here it would show on your record, but it would state - convicted? - Charges Dropped or Dismissed, but it would be there. It's supposed to seal when you become an adult, but the sure way is to have it ex-sponged.

Pick your friends carefully, but be much more careful about the choices you make.

Good Luck!

When you turn 18, make sure it is removed. Do not trust them to do it automatically.

But really, once something is on a computer and in a court record somewhere, it will always be somewhere out there.

If your checking for the job now, you have to put yes. After that, you can put no. But make sure it gets removed.

that was some deal! it won't be on your record because you haven't been convicted of it. that only happens if you screw up during the 3 months.
