no, your juvenile record is not destroyed. But it is sealed away from the normal public viewing. But it can be brought up in court. People can file a discovery motion to look at it if you have a history of committing the same crime. and in some cases it can be seen by perspective employer if there is a security risk involved.

Your juvie record is automatically sealed as soo as you hit 18, regardless of crime. It is inadmissable in any court except if it was a particularly violent crime, and even then cant be shown to jury only judge before trial to see what charges should be, or for sentencing.
