Intellectual property?!!?

ok, here is a Q!!
if i gave an idea of a TV program as an answer in the yahoo answer page, like "American Inventor" or "Biggest Losser" or something like that, can i claim the intellactual property of that show?

ok, to clarify it:
its my friend, he answered a Q about 10 months ago by giving an idea of a TV show, and after 5 months ,a TV show with the same idea and topic has been started

Your friend can only go after the TV show if he can prove that they got the idea for the show by reading his posting. This is virtually impossible to do.

Intellectual Property

NOUN:

A product of the intellect that has commercial value, including copyrighted property such as literary or artistic works, and ideational property, such as patents, appellations of origin, business methods, and industrial processes.

I don't think you have a right to patents or copyrighted material that's already in effect!
