Intellectual property law a positive contribution?

Is intellectual property law a positive contribution to our world?

thanks

Yes. It allows people to make a living from their creativity. Those that oppose merely wish to steal due to having no talent or intelligence to create on their own.

Yes, People should have the right to claim as their own the things that they create.

With moderation it can be a positive law.

It is too restrictive as it is now. There should be shorter time limits and more opportunity for public use.
