What responsiblities do paralegals in the Intellectual Property law have?

What responsiblities do paralegals in the Intellectual Property law have?

No matter what field you are in, basically the paralegal does all the work, and the atty. gets all the money.

The paralegal does the research, paperwork, filing, scheduling, etc. All the lawyer does is give his/her "ok" and handle the official hearings, etc.

However, if by responsibility you mean "liability" the answer is none. That's why the atty. gets the big $$. Its his butt on the line.

I'm studying to be a paralegal and I think they all basically have the same job: researching cases, making sure bills are up to date, preparing argument for the lawyers.
