What does the "beneficial" from "legal and beneficial rights" mean?

"...and all other legal and beneficial intellectual property rights."
What does the "beneficial" mean in this case? That the intellectual property rights will benefit the person exercising them? (I would have thought that was obvious, so maybe I am missing something...)

In this scenario, it would be two seperate issues being considered. Legal rights are just that,,,what the law says. Beneficial rights are items that would help you or you would gain from. Although they are tied together, they are judged seperately and a single decision is made. I hope you have found this useful.
