Say Y!A decided someday to publish a book entitled "The Best of Y!A's Q&A's", would they be needing .....?

.... people's written authorization before they could proceed with the publication? ... In other words, do we, the users, have any say so and/or intellectual property rights when it comes to [non-Internet-based] commercialization of our own Q&A's?

Nope.....everything on the site is property of Y!A....which doesn't preclude someone from trying litigation, since it's the American Way.

no

I don't think so. When you are writing on a public website I think you are already giving up any rights.

i think there may be a clause about that in the t&a when you sing up. however, unless they are using out names /nicknames, i dont think they need any written consent, however it would not be that hard to get it i dont think. just send out an e-mail to whoever they want to you and you just write them a leter or consent
