Can a student publish emails from their account on facebook if they are being harassed and want help or advice |
Does that student have intellectual property right to the email from their account, even their own emails, if it is indeed their account? Can that student publish those emails on an outlet like Facebook? What if the name of another person is in the email, but it is still from the personal email account of the student? Thanks! what if the email is written by someone else? It's not an intellectual property issue, so yes it's completely legal to print out your email to show the authorities. If an email is sent to you, you have the right to do with it as you wish. If you wrote an email, you have a right to publish it. Are there any threats in the email? Anything not true that could get the person in trouble? Anything not true at all? |
