I received a ticket today for no drivers license if i pay before the due date do i still have to go to court? |
by the way i live in houston,tx. I did have insurance though but no driver's license oh and im 17. i would Really appreciate your answers Thanx It depends on the situation. Certain offenses are "mandatory court" offenses, meaning you have to go even if you aren't contesting it. I'd call the court and ask, if it isn't clear on the ticket. Unfortunaly you do have to show up in court, even if you pay ahead of the date expecially if you are a minor and your parents have to do with you in court because you are a minor. Yes. Minors always have to go to court. You may want to check and see if your parents have to go also. A lot of times they do. |
