Applied for a sales job that requires a driving check background how screwed am i? |
This job requires driving but I will be driving my own car. They have to do a dmv check for insurance purposes because I will be driving MY OWN CAR not a company car while on the clock. How strict will the insurance company and hiring company be? I got some stuff on my record. like a couple speeding tickets that are like 5-10 over. defective vehicle, hazardous lights. Got one at fault accident (minor accident) like 3 years ago, got a revocation (non driving related, minor in possession of alcohol) like 7 years ago which should be wiped off by now i think though. They are only checking back 5 years so the revocation thing should not show up. All of the violations will show in a check but if you are driving your own vehicle it probably will not alter your status to be hired.~ |
