I need to know my rights as a concerned mother should know? |
I have 4 kids, 1 of which has a father who was a wrong decision on my part, I have been protecting her for 10 years now from this guy, recently I had to switch jobs and lost my insurance, I was already diagonsed with cancer, I needed the insurance so I applied for medacaid, in which I'm being forced to tell them who her father is, in which I have refused because he would kill me, or her, I have been protecting her for 10 years now, and they don't believe me of him being violent, because I never had any police reports filed, I filed a court hearing stating that my story has not changed for 10 years now, and my daughter has no interest in knowing who he is, what can I do, I can't go w/out insurance, and I cannot allow them to force my child into seeing her doner, I am so scared they will not believe me that he would harm us if he ever found us, someone please help me what more do I got to do, what can I do? No LUV this is not REENA, but if someone else is going through this too, I would love for you to email me please! giving them the name doesn't mean they can locate him. give them the name and say you don't have the address and social security. that way it's up to them to locate him but since you provided the information you do have then you are cooperating and are eligible for benefits. just keep the information very basic. all they need to know is you provided as much info and possible. they should also be able to withhold your personal information so when anything is mailed to him it does not include your address. I had to do that. You will not be eligible to collect the benefits without giving them the name. The reason they require it is because they will be billing him for the money you get. In Florida, they will also go after him for Child Support. Your choice as to which way you can afford to go. Call the District Attorney's Office and ask a few questions. Don't give them your "real" name. ( your just asking questions) If his name is not on the birth certificate and you truly feel threatened "Lie" tell them you don't know who the father is. Pretend you don't know who the father is .... IS THIS REENA ?? |
