Fender Bender no one injured....turns out suspended license....?

i got into a fender bender with my fiancee on monday night me driving her car. No one was injured and damage was very minimal. ( A couple dents the size of ping pong balls) Insurance information was swapped ( her insurance information) and cell phone numbers exchanged. No crash report filed on site of accident. Turns out state highway patrolman came to verify crash report as other party made one this evening. State patrolman inquired that my license was suspended ( not knowingly) at the time of crash. Will i get in trouble for Driving under suspension even though the incident has come and gone?

If it was suspended at the time of the accident, yes you will get in trouble seeing as how you were driving on a suspended license, and there's proof that you were driving on a suspended license. It all depends on whether that cop and the opposite driver persues charges against you.

Hopefully, the cop gives you some slack if he honestly believes that you did not know your license was suspended. Anyways, good luck.
