Is there a statue of limitations on how long a medical bill is mailed and expected to be paid in GA?

I received a medical bill from 14 months ago, that I thought the insurance company had paid. Is there a time limit that they can bill you?

Statutes of limitations are only for criminal offenses. Medical bills are civil issues so it doesn't apply.
The bill might be turned over to a collection agency & that can stick with your credit for 7 years.
