How Do I Get An Official Autopsy Report ?

I have an insurance claim to file and cannot do so until I have the autopsy report viewed by a second medical party. The deceased is not a relative.

I dont think there is a way to do this without the family helping you get a copy by them going and getting it and giving it to you.They should already have a copy so I would ask them if you could have a copy of it.

If you are not a relative to the deceased, you may not have the legal standing to get a copy of the autopsy report. However, if there is an insurance policy involved, and the deceased was their client, the insurance company would have standing. Contact the insurance company and have them apply for a copy.
