Does anyone know how to file a complaints regarding about the medical payment issue.? |
I had a DNC surgery in March and before the surgery I called the hospital to ask them how much they charge for outpatient DNC surgery, they told me they charge for around $2,200. But now the hospital had bill my insurance company for $5,800 which they only cover around $2,900, now I have to pay the hospital $2,900. This is ridiculous; does anyone can help me where I can file complaints for this kind of issue? Thanks it could be 2200 for just the surgery, not including the doctor or anesthesiology costs (which are separate) The surgery itself may only be $2200 however by the time they factor in incidental costs it may very well bloat that up to the $5,800. Ask for an itemized invoice. You were probably quoted the amount for just the surgery. Call them and ask why you were told one amount and are now being charged another. They will be happy to explain all the add on costs. |
