Can Anyone Define Harrasment,on the job?

I filed for unemployment insurance, and I was eligable but I had to wait 5 wks and they said no, am requesting a hearing but noone will show, I quit the old job, because I was getting Harrased, by my boss, and I felt like I was set up, So now I don't have a job, and the unemployment office wont give me enough information as to why I got denied. What kind of Harrasment do you have to go through to get approval on benefits?

I am sure someone could define harassment on the job.
People can do a lot of things on the job that they can't do off the job.
But, as I see it, you have one major problem to overcome at this time.
In order for someone to define harassment on the job you will have to have a job to be on.
Although it would probably be the same definition I suggest that you find someone that could define harassment for you "off the job".
But here is what I came up with and I hope it helps.

harassment : noun. the act of annoying.

First of all, harassment is the basis of a claim by the employee against the employer. It has nothing to do with your unemployment claim.

Secondly, "harassment" by an employer is not illegal in general, as far as I know. It is sexual harassment that is illegal.

Harassment can take place in many forms including sexual, cursing etc, etc. You need someone who witnessed the Harassment and is willing to testify for you! Good-Luck!

I would say anytime someone makes you feel uncomfortable or demeaned. Hard thing to prove though...

try not to cause any waves, it will make your work experience more difficult, just quit if the job sucks
