Question about SIN (Social Insurance) ? |
I am a Canadian living in Toronto, Ontario and I would like to know, when you give your SIN number to your job, what type of information is made available to them? Is it detailed enough to show them all your previous work experience and more specifically, exactly how long you have worked at all previous employement? ie: dates and stuff ? In your application there is separate part for current employer to go and check all your previous record, without your consent about releasing your information to current employer no one go and check your previous record. It is illegal. |
