My wife got a ticket in Washington State. What can we do to get it reduced? |
The ticket was for not having a front license plate and she couldn't find her new insurance card while stopped. Go to court on the date that's on the ticket, show the front plate (that you just got) and the insurance card (dated effective prior to the date of the ticket) that you couldn't find at the time and your ticket will probably be reduced. No guarantees however. You never know if the judge had coffee that morning or not. Yea as the first guy said. If she got a ticket for no insurance if she shows proof the judge may drop that one. She might still have to pay court costs. |
