Auto Accident-Property Damage, Need Help!? |
I moved into my new apartment on march 31st, unfortunately on the same day I had an auto accident on the same day. I hit a wooden beam of a 4 beamed wooden bus stop, split the beam in two and that was it. This happened at 1am in the morning, I called the police and he thought it wasn't serious so he didn't come out. I left my very nice car at scene(side of the complex) and went back to my apartment for the morning to sleep(Moving all day and was very tired). I did file a claim with my insurance company before I slept. There was no hit and run because I called and the officer was to lazy to come out. The manager never apologized for claiming that this was a hit and run incident. The manager asked me for my insurance card as well the next day and gave it to him. His attitude changed since the officer told him that it was his fault for not coming out when I called right after the accident. the insurace should take care of the property damage, they are in charge of talking to the complex, getting quotes and paying for all of that damage, you dont have to do anything cause you already filed the claim, everything esle is up to them. Hey Bootz , whole worldz! |
