Auto Accident-Property Damage, Need Help!?

I moved into my new apartment on march 31st, unfortunately on the same day I had an auto accident on the same day. I hit a wooden beam of a 4 beamed wooden bus stop, split the beam in two and that was it. This happened at 1am in the morning, I called the police and he thought it wasn't serious so he didn't come out. I left my very nice car at scene(side of the complex) and went back to my apartment for the morning to sleep(Moving all day and was very tired). I did file a claim with my insurance company before I slept.

The next day I presume the manager saw the accident and left his card in my window saying that he was going to call the police for hit and run on the back if I don't contact him. He called the police anyway before I contacted him. Later that night me and the officer, that I contacted right after I hit the pole, and the same officer responded to the manager's police report, we met and he got my insurance down and he went on his way.

There was no hit and run because I called and the officer was to lazy to come out. The manager never apologized for claiming that this was a hit and run incident. The manager asked me for my insurance card as well the next day and gave it to him. His attitude changed since the officer told him that it was his fault for not coming out when I called right after the accident.

Alright, Car takes a month to get fixed because insurance company sends out a claims adjuster and the adjuster gets the estimate wrong the first time and the insurance company overpaid by $2000 for my car's damages. The Authorized Dealer's bodyshop would not reimburse me for the $2000 but they said that they would send it back. I have no way of knowing whether they sent the money back or not to my insurance company. They should have given it to me since it's my insurance and they could have kept it.

[Sorry for the long details but I'm ranting and trying to inform about my ordeal. My TRUE problem is next.]

the insurace should take care of the property damage, they are in charge of talking to the complex, getting quotes and paying for all of that damage, you dont have to do anything cause you already filed the claim, everything esle is up to them.

Now on ur vehicle, the insurance figures out what they are goin to spend from their estimate, thebody shop might
figure more or less than what the ins did, so either way yuo wont get money back.

the complex needed to call and file a claim for the damaged beam just like you did for your vehicle, thats has to be handle between them two. i dont think they have a right to kick you out, check with an attorney, if you sue and win, dont forget about me :) lol

Hey Bootz , whole worldz!
